Dr.V.K.Shankar is a Veterinarian by education & training from one of the reputed institutions of India (Madras Veterinary College) with specialization in Microbiology (Dissertation in Virology) and is associated with Animal Health Industry since 1994 in leading MNC's in various responsibilities like Technical Services, Training, Clinical & Regulatory Affairs, Product Development. He has been a regular participant in International forums as a speaker like VIV Asia, World Animal Health Congress, IPPE, Atlanta, ILDEX...etc and involved in several market research studies in Animal Health industry. He has actively partnered with Govt of India in various forums like Review of Veterinary Pharmacopoeia, Emerging Disease Surveillance & Monitoring, Review of Regulatory processes & timelines...etc In Product Development, he has led the Registration & Clinical Trials for various markets across the globe specially Asia, Latin America, South Africa and Sub-saharan Africa. Between 2012 to 2019, he was holding positions of Regional Poultry Portfolio Manager for Asia Pacific, Global Vet Tech Services Manager – Immunostimulants, Global Species Manager – Poultry in India and abroad. From August 2019, he taken charge as CEO of M/s Globion India Pvt Ltd – a 100% subsidiary of the SUGUNA POULTRY GROUP based out of Secunderabad, India.
