Mallory McMahon is a cosmetic chemist and serial innovator in the personal care and beauty industry. Mallory earned a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry and a Master’s degree in Polymer Chemistry from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo and began her career at Lubrizol Advanced Materials, where she co-invented and launched new cosmetic ingredients. Mallory shifted to the brand side in 2015, joining innovation house, SEED Beauty, where she developed the well-known Kylie Jenner Matte Liquid Lip along with award winning products for ColourPop Cosmetics and Fourth Ray. Her passion for clean beauty drew Mallory to The Honest Company; as the Associate Director of Research and Innovation, Mallory has continued to formulate award winning products while setting a new industry standard for clean beauty. While social distancing, Mallory enjoys long Seinfeld reruns, puzzles, and long walks with her golden doodle, Cheddar.
