Erik Suichies is Vice President BU Customers at Vattenfall. He is a.o. responsible for sourcing (green) energy for Vattenfall’s customers in NW-Europe and offering industry and other energy suppliers access to the wholesale market. He furthermore takes care of optimizing Vattenfall’s wind- and solar parks on the balancing markets as well as optimizing > 7 GW of wind- and solar parks owned by 3rd parties. Before his start in this position in May 2018, Erik was since half 2012 responsible for Vattenfall’s Business customers in the Netherlands.
He is 48 years old and studied Business Economics in Amsterdam.
