Caroline is leading the innovation cycle, development and commercial launch of a new digital platform accelerating the corporate procurement of renewable energy. Combining technical expertise in energy systems modelling with a policy background, Caroline has been working on innovation and solution-oriented research in climate change adaptation and mitigation for more than 9 years. Prior to DNVGL, Caroline worked in project finance and project development for renewable energy projects at EDF Energies Nouvelles. She also led technology scouting activities for the APAC region for the Bosch Research Centre based in Singapore. Finally, Caroline has worked as a wind power lobbyist creating a bridge between Norwegian politicians, industry stakeholders and environmental organisations at NORWEA.
Caroline holds a MSc in Technology and Policy from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) with a focus on Energy Systems and Energy Policy and worked as a Research Assistant at the MIT Joint Program on the Science and Policy of Global Change.
