Alana Kühne is Head of PPAs and Merchant Products at Ørsted, one of the world’s largest renewable energy companies that today ranks as the most sustainable company in the world in the Global 100 index by Corporate Knights. For the last 6 years, Alana has held a number of senior roles within Ørsted and is an expert in energy management and renewable energy. She specialises in helping businesses to procure renewable power from offshore wind farms to contribute to a greener energy future. Alana currently leads the team responsible for all European Corporate and Wholesale PPA partnerships and in the past 18 months, her team have successfully delivered the world's largest offshore wind PPA with Covestro, a world-leading supplier of high-performance polymer materials and a PPA partnership with the world's largest food and beverage company, Nestlé. The team were also responsible for the UK’s first offshore wind corporate PPA with Northumbrian Water in 2019.
