Morten is the Chief Executive Officer at Bio-Me with a passion for attracting highly motivated and competent teams creating unique technologies to solve complex microbiome problems. Morten completed his doctorate in biotechnology from the University of Oslo. During the last decade, Morten’s passion has been to elevate the industry acceptance of gut microbiome analysis as a major contributor for optimizing precision medicine. Morten has served as a board member and CEO of several start-ups including Active Biotech, Affitech, and Genetic Analysis. He is proud of the companies he has nurtured because they all have valued open, candid and respectful dialog, while being able to transfer ideas and products and to the market quickly.
