Heidi Hau directs key initiatives at Rebiotix that seek to expand the microbiota-based drug platform for the treatment of infectious and chronic diseases. As part of this role, she manages investigator-sponsored clinical studies supported by Rebiotix and early research and development efforts of next generation microbiota-based therapeutics.
Previously, she has led cross-functional R&D teams at biotech start-ups as well as Fortune 500 programs in molecular biology, microbiology and immunology. Most recently, she directed the global external innovation program leading technical due diligence for external partnerships that focused on microbiological and molecular-based technologies.
Heidi received her undergraduate degree in microbiology from Colorado State University and earned a Ph.D. in the Microbiology, Immunology & Cancer Biology Program at the University of Minnesota, Minneapolis. She completed a post-doctoral fellowship in anaerobic microbiology and metabolic engineering at the University of Minnesota, St. Paul.
