ATUM has pioneered a unique proprietary protein engineering platform that is driven by variable selection based on phylogenetic and structural modeling, and a search algorithm based on Design of Experiment and Machine Learning derived on empirical data. The platform has to date been successfully applied to >50 different proteins ranging from protein pharmaceuticals to research tools to biocatalysis to food industry. Results from a handful of case studies will be presented.
