Tenesha leads strategy and investments for the Maternal Health portfolio at Tara Health, where she focuses on maternal health care quality and access in the United States. Prior to joining Tara Health, Tenesha was an Investment Associate at Rhia Ventures, a reproductive health venture capital firm, where she supported deal evaluation and managed health care service delivery projects. She also previously led and facilitated coalitions of abortion providers Texas working to address stigma and ensure access to care. Previously, Tenesha also served as the Membership Director of the National Abortion Federation where she focused on quality in abortion care, with an emphasis on care experience, organizational development and clinic sustainability. She also previously worked as the Administrator / Director of Southwestern Women’s Surgery Center, where she led all operations and business development. Tenesha holds a masters degree in Psychology from Kingston University and earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of Oklahoma.
