Zac is an R&D Senior Scientist for the Renew Life brand.
He holds a Ph.D. in Microbiology from the University of California, Davis; and was awarded a prestigious Alfred P. Sloan Foundation postdoctoral fellowship
He has extensive expertise in Bi¬fidobacterial genetics and physiology, as well as experience measuring bacterial abundances using state-of-the-art DNA sequencing techniques. He currently leads the development of probiotic and prebiotic products, and is the point person for Renew Life’s clinical trials program. He also provides subject matter expertise on the human microbiome.
